Did you notice that the Michael Kors grommet trench is a knockoff of a Via SPiga and a Larry Levine spring trench that has been running the last 4 years.

Thanks for the feedback Chewfy! You are right, the style of Michael Kors grommet coat is very similar to the Via Spiga winter version from Overstock and spring version from Bluefly. It is hard to trace at times where the ideas are derived from, especially since many of the ready-to-wear designers draw inspiration from the upscale runway trends, which sometimes result in the similar styles.
I am usually concerned with the fit and quality of the item and not so much with whether it looks like anything else out there, since your personal style and accessories will always differentiate the item.
