Best Grammy 2010 Looks and How To Get Them For Less

by fh on February 1, 2010 · 4 comments

Stars dazzled 2010 Grammy Awards with styles ranging from glam to casual to rock chick. As  we’ve seen in  is the past, there is no dress code to abide to at Grammy awards.

Some celebrities wore elegant gowns, while others turned heads with skin baring rock ensembles.   And as usual within each style some looks worked (yes, J. Lo and Heidi, you did it again), while other looks didn’t (sorry Lady Gaga, while we get the whole alien vibe, we’re not entirely sure if the intent was to dress up as a human or to moonlight as a stage decoration.)

Here is the round up of best dressed celebrities and how to get a similar look (for mere mortals with mortal cash flow).

Taylor Swift was a vision of elegance  in this Kaufman Franco sexy back gown with jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin shoes.
For a similar look to a black tie event, try this sexy, open back Silver Sequined Dress by Tony Bowls.   For a night out or cocktail event version, go  with this drape sequin dress by Alexander Wang.

Beyonce wore Stephanie Rolland with Casadei shoes and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.   We like this Bodice Lace Evening Gown
by Terani Couture
.

Marisa Miller in vintage Gucci with Neil Lane jewelry and Yves Saint Laurent shoes.  We like this strapless  Aja Dress by ADAM.

Lea Michele(from Glee) looked adorable in Romona Reveza dress with a Fendi bag, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Brian Atwood shoes.
For a more grown up version try this elegant one-shoulder number from D&G.

Fergie in Emilio Pucci with a Kwiat cuff, Jessica Robinson ring and earrings, Le Silla shoes, and a Judith Leiber clutch.
This multi-layer Alice & Olivia One shoulder dress, gives off the same rock-chic vibe and is young and fresh.

Jennifer Hudson stepped out in this Victoria Bekham dress that shows the right assets and hides any imperfections.
To hide stomach excess, go with this Alice and Olivia Peplum dress or try Maggy London Pagoda Sleeve Sheath Dress for a structured shoulders  and fitted look.
