What a cute clutch!

My biggest fashion problem is that my weight fluctuates quite often and quite drastically – from fitting into my daughter’s size 25 jeans to my now size 11 ugly pants. It’s a chore.

I have two dilemmas. One, justifying the expense of of matching fashion to a polished look when I’m a SAHM. But I solved that one with inner rewards – I earn salon/spa/fitness credit by particiapting – and just won a $1000 dollar gift certificate to Aquaceros Spa ( I chose the spa). So I can now color, cut, style my hair and buy the products, get manicures, pedicures, facials and makeup and face/body products each month and not pay for it.

The second is wanting to be fashionable – for my age. I’m a mom of a two year old but closing in on forty.

I really value comfort in a shoe above all else & loathe a poorly made shoe. I do truly enjoy my MBTs & Dansko clogs, but the styles are a bit orthopedic to say the least!

My fashion dilemma usually surrounds my fit for any bottoms – depending on the cut of the piece I can vary dramatically and so it’s a real chore trying to find something that will fit me – I’m about 5’4″ and vary between size 14 and size 18!

Because I don’t shop for an entire outfit at one time, I end up with odds and ends of things. It takes me forever to get dressed, because I can’t find the right shoes, or jewelry, or top. I often end up wearing accessories or outfits that are acceptable, but not WOW. Even when I put together something that I am happy with (and that ‘s rare), I forget about what pieces I used and start all over the next time.

Now that I am well past middle age and have added too much weight I’m not comfortable in anything that shows my legs. I am constantly in pants and I would love to find a nice style of dress that would make me feel attractive again.

I have problems finding fashionable clothing because I am a petite and let me tell you, most petite styles look hideous! Come on, let’s have something fashionable! I don’t want to look like a sack with appliques all over me and stretch waist bands!
