We recently discovered ScoreLuxe, a reverse auction site where you can buy authentic Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags as well as discounted gift cards to your favorite shopping hot-spots such as Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdales.

So what is ScoreLuxe? It’s a luxury penny auction site that sells authentic designer items. Logistics are simple: users buy bid packages of 30, 50, and so on, and each bid costs $.99. Since every user must use one credit to bid, and each bid costs $.99, the bid price is incremented by 1 cent and winners snag the item for less by sharing the bidding cost.
As it counts down to zero, the auction timer adds up to 30 seconds every time a bid is placed. This extends the auction end time until the highest bid is placed. Use the Autobidder feature if you are en route, don’t want to monitor an auction’s end, or need to stick to a budget.
