Last week, we featured Geogrie Brand Fall 2011 Lookbook. As the article went live, the lovely people from Georgie Brand graciously send us our favorite items from the fall line.
Since we all know that anything looks good on a model, we decided to test drive Georgie’s wear-ability factor and asked a fellow urbanista to play dress-up with the pieces from Georgie Brand fall collection.
Our photo shoot resulted in “There is nothing like…” photo series. Here it is, followed by a short narrative, and wear-ability conclusion.
All photos snapped by the lovely Faina S. (who is also a creator of Cucee Sprouts).
There is nothing like sweeping a fire place in a (faux) leather mini-dress (Mika $230).
There is nothing like watering plants decked out in a chic mini dress and faux leather jacket (Tanya Moto Jacket $290).
There is nothing like fixing the house in a tailored suit (Redford Jacket $326 and Rohm Trousers, $225).
There is nothing like drinking queen’s tea and reading 100 Greatest Classics in comfy cargo pants (Terry Charcoal Pant $225).
Our wear-ability conclusion – Georgie Brand makes stylish, bohemian infused pieces that add interest and flatter. The faux leather pieces are a wonderful option for the ladies who want to stay on trend and avoid wearing real animal skins. The structured suit is a great find for women with long legs. Most of the pieces offer versatility and can be easily dressed up and down.
