The spring and summer shoe trend is all about the Gladiator Shoe, but there is also another trend that overlaps with the Gladiator, but is much more elegant. It is the Cage Sandal (some of the styles below would make very artsy and creative cages).
The style is sexy, interesting, and adds interest and character to an outfit. The cage shoe style also works well with many types of outfits: casual, evening, and dressy casual. Wear with jeans and a sexy top, short evening dress to show off the leg, or a flowing summer dress.
